Please ensure you can meet our policies before making a reservation

Policies are displayed below and you will be required to confirm can meet them during the  reservation process.

CHECK IN /ARRIVAL

Check-in begins at 12 noon. We have no place for you to wait for your site to become available so please do not arrive early. We require that you arrive BEFORE our office closes for liability reasons. That means in May/June arrival is by 7pm, in July/August arrival is by 8pm, in September arrival is by 7pm and in October arrival is by 6pm. If you cannot arrive before our office closes you will be asked to arrive the next day so as to not disturb other campers. Do not make a reservation for a day when you cannot meet our check-in policy. Traffic in the metro Boston area can double your travel time during the summer/fall season. Please allow for extra travel time to ensure you arrive safely before our office closes.

Checkout is at 11am.

PETS/DOGS

Dogs are to be kept on a leash, picked up after and are not to be left alone outside at your site unattended. If your four legged friend is a barker, we ask that you do not leave them alone at your site. If barking disturbs other campers while you are off site, you will be called to return to your unit and not leave them alone again. We do not require guests to show up to date vaccination records but recommend you travel with them for your own protection!

Guests that do not pick up after their pets while on our property will be charged a $50 clean up fee. There is no excuse for not cleaning up dog waste!

FIRES

Small wood fires are permitted for cooking only (Mass reg. 7.2.1) in our rock fireplaces. Fires must be out by 11pm. Fireplaces are not to be moved. It is against Massachusetts state regulations to move firewood across county lines. All firewood used at our campground must be prepackaged and kiln dried. Wood is available for purchase at the office or local grocery stores. Per the fire chief, open fires are not permitted in the big rig section.

TRASH

We have trash and recycling dumpsters adjacent to the office area. Guests that leave trash on their sites after check out will be charged a $50 clean up fee.

VEHICLES

An identification tag must be visibly displayed at all times. Only bicycles are permitted for riding in the park. No bike riding through the office area or after dark. Massachusetts state law requires all riders 12 and under must wear helmets. Skateboards, scooters, minibikes and the like are NOT allowed. All motorized vehicles (gas or electric) require insurance on our property. All vehicles, including trailers and motorhomes, must have a CURRENT registration and we reserve the right not to accept any unregistered vehicles into the park.

ELECTRIC CARS

The charging of electric vehicles is strictly prohibited on our property. Our electrical system was not designed to support the charging of electric vehicles. There are multiple charging stations in downtown Gloucester within less than 10 minutes from our location. Campers caught charging vehicles onsite will be charged a $50 fee for every night that they stay.

SIGNS

We strive to make our property a stress-free environment for all of our guests. The posting of political signs or flags is prohibited.

QUIET HOURS

This is a family campground. Please respect your neighbors. Radio, TV, conversations, etc. to be kept low so as not to disturb other guests. Alcoholic beverages are to be kept at your campsite. Does your group like to stay up late and drink? Then this isn’t the place for you.

No running of generators at any time.

ALL QUIET TIME: 10pm – 7am We do not suggest making a reservation if you cannot respect our quiet time hours! Those who cannot respect these hours will be told to leave immediately without refund!

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that emergencies and last minute changes in plans do happen. And we thank you for understanding that we require 2 weeks (14 days) notice of cancellation if you would like to receive a 90% refund on your deposit. If you cannot give us 2 weeks notice we will hold your deposit to be used 365 days from cancellation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival will lose their deposit entirely. You must call our office to cancel a reservation. Email and facebook message reservation cancellations will not be accepted.

MAKING RESERVATIONS

Unless you are staying with us for the entire season, we do not guarantee a specific site number. On our reservation form you will be allowed to choose your first choice of sites off the map and can list in the requests/comments any other choices but we do not guarantee one site specifically. We reserve the right to change site numbers based on the equipment you are reserving for!

Site rates are based on 2 people with one piece of camping equipment and one vehicle. If you have additional people arriving in an additional vehicle and setting up additional equipment then you must rent an additional site. Making reservations for sites ahead of time ensures sites are together. If you arrive on your day of check in with additional people/cars/equipment you may be required to rent an additional site that is not near your original reserved site. Please plan ahead to avoid sites not being together. All site rentals are subject to minimum stay requirements.
